An important step toward making positive progress in life is becoming aware that ALL things are connected. Every second, blink, breath, thought, emotion, action, step, and word. Every “bad” day you’ve had was preceded and followed by a DAY. Whether those days were “good” or not is irrelevant. What matters is that the “bad” day wasn’t the end of days. It was connected in a cycle of other days that had equal potential to be “bad” or “good”. Understanding that this is the case can give you the attitude that “nothing will KEEP me down, I’m coming up, I always come up”. Furthermore, if applied in a universal sense, it could be the catalyst for a more grounded, balanced attitude. One that says “I’m not high and I’m not low, I Am centered”. So don’t treat temporary stops as if they’re the final destination. Run the race in winter the same as in summer because it’s still the same race. Nothing is separate. All is connected.
